BCI was contracted by a customer in early 2021 to build the new HST Reactor Unit. This project was challenging due to the engineering bust and changes throughout all phases of the project. BCI’s expertise played a big factor in keeping costs down for our customers and keeping the project on schedule even with the added scope. BCI scope included all sitework, civil, structural fabrication and structural erection, pipe fabrication and all mechanical installation. BCI completed the project with a two-week outage that resulted in turning the unit over to operations. BCI completed the project by working over 30,000 manhours without first aid or recordable.
